《13 Months of Sunshine》回味浪漫、旅行與閃耀事物，初聽便洋溢歡快氛圍，帶聽眾沉浸於過往夏日的懷舊情懷。開場曲〈New Flower!〉（與 Leon Thomas 合作）讓 Aminé 回溯起點，細數他的奮鬥歷程——「Complex wasn’t really paying me sh*t / Def Jam had me getting sandwiches / Got one for Big Sean but at least he tipped」，他在歌詞中幽默吐露，為俏皮挑逗的〈Feels So Good〉鋪陳情緒。
