傳奇攝影師 Roger Deakins 認為《蝙蝠俠》才是本屆奧斯卡「最佳攝影獎」得主

傳奇攝影師 Roger Deakins 在週一第 95 屆 Oscar 奧斯卡金像獎舉辦前，就曾在 Deadline 專訪中表示他心中「最佳攝影獎」的得主並沒有入圍本屆奧斯卡：「在我看來，《蝙蝠俠 The Batman》才是最好的作品。」
Roger Deakins 認為由知名攝影師 Greig Fraser 掌鏡拍攝的《蝙蝠俠》成為本屆最大遺珠，Roger 表示：「沒有入圍的原因很簡單：勢利，現在有一種不公平的趨勢在迴避 MCU 或是其他流行宇宙的作品，但好作品就是好作品，無論何種類型。」
The reason it wasn’t is pure and simple: snobbery. There’s this unfair tendency to avoid the Marvel universe and the other popular universes. It comes down to the work. Good work is good work whatever the genre.
《蝙蝠俠》於去年上映時，就有不少影評稱讚 Greig Fraser 於本片展現的攝影美學，並成功在上屆奧斯卡以《DUNE》拿下「最佳攝影獎」，而本屆得主則是《西線無戰事 All Quiet on the Western Front》，攝影師為 James Friend 。
