《黑袍糾察隊 》第三季於去年正式播畢，並留下許多劇情伏筆，而劇組快馬加鞭地於八月底正式開拍第四季，同一時間更準備推出衍生劇《Gen V》。近期主創 Eric Kripke 發文表示將在加拿大多倫多完成第四季的結局，而該貼文也讓網友們議論本劇是否將在下一季劃下句點，而 Eric 也對此回應表態本劇不會第四季就完結，還會為影迷們帶來更多精彩內容，且暗示第四季或將於近期準備正式上線。
