Leonardo DiCaprio 捐贈 $500 萬美元資助亞馬遜森林大火保育行動

知名影星 Leonardo DiCaprio 除了所主演的電影部部賣座之外，他在環境保育議題上的推廣也讓他在眾人心中有著相當好的形象。早先他便宣布捐贈出 $500 萬美元，用來資助保育亞馬遜叢林的工作。

近期遭到全世界熱議的亞馬遜叢林大火，根據 Business Insider 的報導指出，自 8 月 15 日開始，有超過 9,500 起森林大火在巴西出現。Leonardo DiCaprio 隨即在個人 Instagram 上質疑此次事件，希望網友透過社群網路的力量傳播相關消息，不過亞馬遜叢林大火也因此從單純的環保議題已經演變為政治議題，原本不願意投入資源救災的巴西官方，也在國際輿論壓力下投入救災。

目前這一連串的森林大火已經燒毀超過 519 平方英哩的森林，約莫是兩個東京的面積，隨之而來的霧霾災害，也將會讓 São Paulo 等城市的天空灰暗，對環境影響極大，復原需要大量的金錢與人力才能達成。

如果希望幫助 Leonardo DiCaprio，可以捐款至 Earth Alliance 的官方網站，款項的 100% 都將轉移給非營利的環境保育團體。除此之外，亦可關注紐約預計 2020 年實施塑料袋禁令。
