Carmelo Anthony 究竟能為誰效力？
去年 11 月中，Houston Rockets 與 Carmelo Anthony 達成共識確認分道揚鑣，前者尋求任何的交易機會，後者將不會再為球隊上場。今日根據知名記者 Adrian Wojnarowski 報導，Rockets 已同意將 Carmelo 交易至 Chicago Bulls，同時貼補現金予以 Bulls，但 Carmelo 並不會為 Bulls 出賽，交易截止日前都將留在球隊，等待其他球團給予機會。另有消息指出 Lakers 仍然對 Carmelo 具有高度興趣，未來將持續觀望。
此外，Houston Rockets 已裁掉先前以 10 天短約簽下的 James Nunnally，正式補進 Kenneth Faried 遞補禁區戰力空缺。
