Stephen Curry 回應 Kevin Durant 早前對 Under Armour 的侮辱言論
「他有這樣絕對的權利去發表意見」。
事情的起始源於 Kevin Durant 在上月出席電台節目時，在節目當中說出沒有人想加入 Under Armour，因為優秀的都是在 Nike。所說的話是解釋由 Under Armour 贊助的馬里蘭大學無法招收更好的高中運動員。其實 Kevin Durant 已不是第一次批評 Under Armour，上年他也曾經在節目上取笑隊友 Stephen Curry 的 Under Armour Curry 2 Low 鞋款。

而 Stephen Curry 亦終於就 Kevin Durant 的言論作出聲明，在接受 The Charlotte Observer 採訪時，出言捍衛了品牌。

另外 Stephen Curry 補充說他有向 Kevin Durant 討論過這件事，並認為不會妨礙團隊動態。因為 Kevin Durant 有着明顯的權利去發表意見，畢竟他是在 Nike 的成長。當不同大學與品牌有着競爭時，自然會出現此等的言論。看來作為 Under Armour 一哥的 Stephen Curry 盡顯其大器，而加上 Kevin Durant 也不是第一次這樣，對 Curry 來說已經見慣不怪。
