剛於東京完成大獲好評的 2016 秋冬「The Nature of Men」走秀,Hermès 再次於日本打造驚艷計劃。Hermès 在京都向來只有一家在百貨公司裡的專櫃,但最近便在地實體的開設了一家期間限定,只開放到明年的店。這次新店潛藏於祇園區的花見小路,店子有 2 層,並由日本設計師鬼木孝一郎負責,陳列方式的格子狀架可自由搬動,方便隨時更改格式。這次期間限定希望讓人重新認識 Hermès 的傳統產品,所以店內會定期每一至兩個月轉換主題,重心和單一地推介 Hermès 歷年來經著歲月變化但一直堅持的工藝品,首回帶來的便是優雅無比的絲巾,展示數十枚可遇不可求的絲巾外,還在店內展示負責絲巾們洗滌烘乾的機器,讓人更深入和全面了解值得追求的產品。有別於其他分店,當作展覽的看待,還灑上了傳統風俗的色彩。
