The 1975 Celebrates 10th-Anniversary of Its Debut Album With 4LP Vinyl

Manchester-born alternative music group The 1975 has been in business for over 20 years, coming to life in 2002 with lead vocalist Matty Healy, guitarist Adam Hann, bassist Ross MacDonald, and drummer George Daniel. While announcing its largest North American tour and a controversial performance at Malaysia’s Good Vibes Festival this summer, The 1975 celebrates ten years of its self-titled album with a special-edition vinyl record.
The four-disc deluxe LP will drop on September 1, 2023 — exactly ten years since its release date. The band’s debut record cemented its place in British music history, packed with electro-rock anthems and mesmerizing melodies. The album hit number 1 on the UK music charts shortly after its release and earned certified platinum status across the US and UK.
The blacked-out vinyl includes the group’s The 1975 record, Facedown EP, Sex EP, Music For Cars EP, and IV EP — all released between 2012 and 2013. The darkened sleeve cover boasts minimalistic anniversary lettering, unveiling coordinating discs with similar branding inside.
The 1975’s 10th-anniversary edition deluxe 4LP is available to pre-order now via the group’s website for £65.99 GBP (approximately $84 USD).
