The 1975 Announces Its Largest North American Tour
Bringing ‘Being Funny in a Foreign Language’ around the US for the second time.
The 1975 are still at their very best, literally. Earlier today, the band announced its set to embark upon the “Still… At Their Very Best” tour beginning on September 26.
Starting in Sacramento, the pop rock band will bring Being Funny in a Foreign Language across the country for the second time since its October 2022 release, making stops at iconic venues and prominent music festivals. The band is slated to perform at Chicago’s Lollapalooza, Las Vegas’ Life is Beautiful, and San Francisco’s Outside Lands.
Wrapping up the American leg of their “At Their Very Best” tour back in December, the once-gatekept band has had a rather substantial year. “At Their Very Best” saw special guests including Phoebe Bridgers and Jack Antonoff, and the recurring, riveting interlude in which lead singer Matty Healy partakes in push-ups and eating raw meat. Healy embodied a true modern-day rockstar, belting choruses atop an on-stage house (among other notable set pieces), and drinking straight from the wine bottle between guitar solos.
While last year’s November 7 Madison Square Garden performance garnered great acclaim, the band is set to return to the venue this upcoming November 14. The band is currently in Europe, completing the fifth leg of the tour.
A verified fan presale will begin June 21 at 10 a.m. local time, and public tickets will go on sale June 23 at 10 a.m. on the band’s website.
