The pubescent growth of Palace Skateboards in 2014 has almost everything to do with Lev Tanju. For all of the brand’s success, Tanju ensured that Palace stayed true to its established vintage athletic aesthetic – putting London street style on the map in the process. The creative not only filmed Palace’s full-length skate video, but also oversaw collaborations with adidas Originals, Reebok and even Dover Street Market London for the store’s 10th anniversary collection. A leader in the independent board company renaissance, Tanju ceaselessly surprises his audience with authentic, heartfelt projects – and will continue to blur the line between fashion and sport in 2015.
