Having familiarized himself with the fashion industry via a stint at KENZO before launching A.P.C., French-Tunisian fashion designer Jean Touitou created his imprint with the aim of blending style and wearability. With quality and simplicity at its core, A.P.C. embodies understated elegance across its men’s and women’s lines. 2014 saw a slew of exciting projects that built on the Paris label’s refined aesthetics. Its outerwear-centric Louis W. range combines inspirations from nouvelle vague films and working class attire, while ongoing footwear collaborations with Nike saw the unveiling of its Free OG silhouette -- a sneaker which fills the void between luxury and street-ready. Its popular subsidiary line with Kanye West of course deserves a mention, alongside collaborative work with Diemme and M/M.
