Shawn Stussy baru saja menjual varsity jacket International Stüssy Tribe spesial melalui vintage store miliknya seharga $5,000 USD. Varsity jacket ini aslinya diperuntukan untuk seniman legendaris asal New York, Keith Haring.
Dibuat pada tahun 1989 sebagai kado untuk Keith, Shawn Stussy berniat untuk memberikannya secara langsung pada musim semi tahun 1990 saat berkunjung ke kota New York. Sayangnya, Keith Haring meninggal di tahun yang sama sehingga varsity jacket ini harus disimpan selama puluhan tahun sampai sekarang. “…this one is very unique and the price reflects this… let me make it very clear, this was never Keith’s jacket, just a feel good gift that never made it to its destination…size large, made in the USA.”, ungkap Stussy pada deskripsi jaket tersebut.
