Jonathan Anderson is an Irish fashion designer and creative director best known for founding JW Anderson. Anderson launched his eponymous label back in 2008, having cut his teeth as a visual merchandiser for Prada. Following the initial wave of acclaim that arose after the debut of JW Anderson’s first collection, Anderson went on to earn multiple sponsorships and awards from the British Fashion Council, including both Menswear Brand of the Year and Womenswear Brand of the Year awards in 2015. Thanks to Anderson’s progressive approach to design of which continued into 2018, Anderson was able to secure multi-collection collaborative partnerships with Converse and Uniqlo, fill the position of guest designer at Pitti Uomo 92 and become the creative director of Spanish luxury label LOEWE.
