Although not in the traditional sense, A-COLD-WALL*’s frontman Samuel Ross has been entrenched within the streetwear landscape since his young teenage years. By the time he reached 15, the creative polymath would create Nike and adidas bootlegs, which he would than flip and sell to friends. Upon graduating with a degree in graphic design and illustration, he, along with long time friend Andrew Harper launched their own brand called 2wnt4. Catching the eye of OFF-WHITE’s Virgil Abloh, Samuel up and relocated to London where he spent the next two years learning the ins and outs of the menswear arena as Abloh’s creative assistant. Finally in 2015, he launched his very own label we now know today as A-COLD-WALL*. Drawing creative influence from the early British working class system, the brand does well to reinterpret wardrobe staples by applying elements of its founders multifaceted graphic language. Continuing on an upward trajectory, A-COLD-WALL* has enjoyed a monumental 2016 releasing collections that continue to make waves far and wide.
