“jeffstaple” and his eponymously named Staple Design brought another year of feathered streetwear goodness, with strong collections and collaborations, as Staple Design collaborated with Ewing Athletics, adidas, Puma and Airwalk furthering the bonds between streetwear and fashion. Jeff also continued spreading his knowledge with the youth culture through his talks, chat pieces and 1-2-1 video interview series. Broadening the horizons and elevating the minds of many by teaching others his business-based vision of couture. Although 2016 was a huge year for Jeffstaple the coming year will surely be even bigger. As Jeff’s long running Reed Space was recently acquired by TGS, Inc. marking the next step in the brand’s story. The joint partnership will see a brand new shop, likely still in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. 2017 will definitely prove that categorizing “jeffstaple” as an “influencer” would be an understatement, as 2016 has once again proven he is more along the lines of an “inspirer.”
