Description

Following hot on the heels of an extensive “Cliques” collection with The Hundreds, PUMA has released its Palace Guard in a special “Er.ror” makeup. Boasting ominous embellishments, an industrial color scheme and deconstructed detailing, the “Er.ror” is a unique take on a classic basketball shoe once worn by Basketball Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas of the Detroit Pistons.

Built of leather and synthetics, the uppers are dressed in a flat matte black hue, with taped seams and top eyestays done up in a glowing green. Bright red embellishments are scattered across the front, back and sides, with the most notable being hazard symbols on the lateral heel and “Caution” printed on each toebox. Stripped-back exposed foam tongues present a gigantic fabric tag complete with barcodes, PUMA’s leaping cat logo and factory-style text that would typically be relegated to the shoe’s inner workings. Black midsoles and tri-color outsoles complete the look.

The PUMA Palace Guard “Er.ror” is available now via the PUMA webstore, and is priced at a palatable $90 USD.
