Nike keeps the GORE-TEX iterations coming, revamping the React Type silhouette from the label’s N. 354 line: a concept-driven sub-label that experiments with existing Nike footwear molds (“N. 354” is named after runner Steve Prefontaine’s record of 3:54 minutes).

This particular iteration comes in a “Black/Light Carbon” colorway, complemented by hits of “Bright Ceramic” and “Thunder Gray.” The top of the sneaker sees navy panels, covering the low-hanging collars, upper sidewalls and all of the tongue. “N1” and “N .354” branding is placed at the top of the tongue, alongside an orange Swoosh that also appears at the rear quarter, sidewalls and front toe. The lower part of the shoe is covered in a protective black shell, comprised of waterproof overlays and breathable mesh. To match the black mudguards, the midsole has been rendered in a tonal palette, while a thin orange outsole that curves up over the rear heel. “GORE-TEX” is detailed over the heel pull and around the lower eyelet as a finishing note to the waterproof sneaker.

The Nike React Type GTX is currently available at for $182 USD.
