Backbone has joined forces with Microsoft to launch the Backbone One: Xbox Edition – a transparent green take on its popular mobile controller inspired by the iconic Halo collector’s edition original Xbox.

The Portland-based company is no stranger to collaborations having launched limited editions of its Backbone One with Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding and Post Malone previously.

Expanding on its existing partnership with Xbox, Backbone is marketing its new Backbone One: Xbox Edition as “an extension of Xbox itself”. The controller features a dedicated Xbox button that works with the Xbox mobile app and allows gamers to easily “tap into their favorite games”, opening your Xbox games collection or the Xbox Guide with just a single click. Tapping the Xbox button twice, however, starts gameplay recording, making for a quick shortcut when you need to capture your unmissable moments of gaming glory.

The Backbone One: Xbox Edition is available now and is priced at £87.00 GBP / $109.99 USD.
