Immortal Technique Reannounces 'The Middle Passage' Album

[gallery columns="3"]If you’re a fan of underground hip-hop, Immortal Technique should be a very familiar name to you. Between 2005 and 2007, the Harlem emcee began working on The Middle Passage and The 3rd World, having only released the latter. Now, ten years later, Tech has finally announced via his official Facebook page that he would be releasing the long-awaited The Middle Passage in the second quarter of 2017. He reveals that there will be 14-16 songs, some of which are in their mixing process currently.
The rapper and urban activist gained a large cult following after releasing Revolutionary Vol. 1 in 2001 and its follow-up Revolutionary Vol. 2 in 2003. Known for being very outspoken on socio-political, governmental and religious issues in his lyrics and interviews, he has sold close to a combined total of 200,000 copies of his first three releases independently. He is best known for his songs “Dance With The Devil,” “Point of No Return” and “You Never Know.”
