More Plot Details and the Latest 'Suicide Squad' Trailer

As far as we know, the upcoming Suicide Squad film will follow a group of criminals who have been recruited by government agent Amanda Waller to fight a so-far unknown villain in exchange for shorter jail sentences. In the latest trailer, also set to Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” new footage reveals more about Waller’s character. Clips of her intentions and mindset come through in weighty punchlines.

As more about the criminals’ leader becomes clear, one main question still remains – who is the real villain? We know the Joker will be making appearances throwing wrenches into the team’s mission, but he will not be the main bad guy here. According to comicbooks.com, the new villain (or “The Adversary” as he’s been referred to) is not the rumored Enchantress, but rather a larger force which she is connected to. The team of criminals will also be seen fighting ”the Eyes of The Adversary” which are foot soldiers working for the main villain.
