Études Studio Opens a Pop-up Space at EN ROUTE Ginza
“Drifting in Tokyo.”
French menswear label Études Studio has temporarily set up shop in Tokyo’s Ginza district for the next month, taking over the premises of the EN ROUTE boutique in the process. The pop-up space will stock the full 2016 Spring/Summer “Up and Down Town” collection alongside collaborations with artists Linus Bill + Adrien Horni. Two limited edition items — a Klein-blue T-shirt and tote bag — will also be available exclusively in-store, featuring a silkscreen graphic that reads “drifting in Tokyo” in French and Japanese as a nod to the French archetype of the flâneur. With stores already located in Hong Kong and Seoul, this pop-up might be a way for the label to test the Japanese market before fully committing to another brick-and-mortar.
