In the latest installment of The Berrics’s How I Got Sponsored video interview series, Paul Rodriguez reflects back on how his first board sponsor from DNA came to fruition. In 1999, at the tender age of 14, P-Rod handed his Nigel Alexander-shot footage over to friend and Status Skateboards rider Steve Vanasco — now known in the photography world as Van Styles — who was able to link Paul with DNA, a sister brand of Status.
