Jeremy Lin never backs down from proving his doubters wrong, and this season is no different. Many pundits and fans alike didn’t think he could handle a starting job, especially in a major market, and yet here he is, four games into a new season averaging 16 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds a game, on a 1-3 team however. Lin has been relatively quiet about the haters, but in this recent video interview with Slam, the 28-year-old point guard tells us why he deserves to be a starter in the NBA. He also talks about his love for New York, his family, how his game has evolved, the future of the Nets franchise, and much more.
