Rhode Island-based design firm Fred & Friends has created a Travelamp Light Diffuser, a lamp that converts a smartphone’s sharp LED light to a warm, soft glow perfect for reading, playing cards or even to set a relaxing environment. Made of a soft silicone, the durable lamp weighs in at an ounce and a half and sports a rubber band strap that wraps around the smartphone, securing it to the device. Retailing for $8 USD and shipping in October, you can pick it up via Fred & Friends online store.
