Fresh Off The Boat with Eddie Huang: Chengdu - Part 2

After kicking it with hip-hop ambassador Rabbi (a.k.a. DJ SuperBestFriend), exploring Panda Base and snacking on some tofu-based concoctions in part one, VICE presents part two of Eddie Huang‘s return to his “bamboo” roots and the city of Chengdu for Fresh Off The Boat. This time around Huang hits the Sichuan capital’s Dead Sea of China Resort and Spa — including its trademark water park and salt cave — before dining on some pork privates, checking out a local apartment-turned-bar and, finally, enjoying some oil-drenched catfish and reflecting on the relative simplicity of life in Chengdu.
