ASSEMBLE is a collaboration between two of Japan’s biggest names — Jun Takahashi of UNDERCOVER and fragment design‘s Hiroshi Fujiwara — that originally began in 1994 with the brand once known as AFFA, or Anarchy Forever Forever Anarchy. Meticulously-crafted and timeless in design, the duo’s 2013 capsule combines elements of punk, streetwear and utilitarian design into one progressive-yet-functional whole. Among our favorite designs is the AFK4101Jacket — an diamond-quilted, moleskin-accented riff on a classic three-button blazer — along with a duo of striped tees inspired by Kurt Cobain and other grunge musicians of the ’90s. Completing the progressive-punk look, meanwhile, is a studded bracelet in primary colors of yellow, blue and red, and with a screen-printed stole in a handful of great seasonal shades.
