After 10 years, hip-hop photographer Jonathan Mannion is closing the doors to his studio this December. Forced out by the landlord’s desire to turn the building into condos, one of our generation’s most illustrious music photographers brought together a tight-knit group of friends to celebrate the space. Under Modelo’s #BlankCanvasMe campaign, several industry personalities had their portraits captured and signed, creating some long-lasting memories beyond the tenure of the studio. Some of the personalities on hand included jeffstaple, Sophia Chang, 40 Oz Van, Dante Ross, DJ D-Nice, Dee & Ricky, ASAP Twelvyy & Illz and more.
Editor’s Note: The title and body has been changed to reflect that the space is closing in December and not immediately.
