In a short segment seen here, Leica’s testament to quality and functionality are the precursors to one of the world’s most respected brands. In 2004, the future of the brand was in serious doubt as it teetered on the brink of bankruptcy. Yet thanks to the vision of investor Andreas Kaufmann, the brand was able to achieve profitability five years later.
