The Rapha Continental is a global cycling commune chasing two-wheeled glory across the longest, steepest, and most epic stretches of tarmac — broken or otherwise, on the planet. The latest installment in the Continental video series takes us to the mountainous Indonesian island of Java, where over the course of three grueling days, the riders tackle the island’s relentless heat and the leg-breaking (mostly) paved climbs across a chain of eight ‘stratovolcanoes’ — a feat which reportedly had previously never been done on a bicycle. True to Rapha style, sweat and spectacular vistas abound, while the documentary itself exemplifies the beauty of not only the sport itself, but the journey as well. Check out the full Rapha summary along with the incredible elevation profiles of the ride here.
