Levi’s “Overalls: The Origin” Video

The Levi’s store in Shibuya, Japan got quite the treat courtesy of the folks at Levi’s. Makers of quality denim jeans since 1876, Levi’s product archivist, Lynn Downey, brought a pair of the very first handcrafted 501’s to put on display at the store. Even after all these years, many if not all of the materials and methods have remained the same when it comes to construction. Watch all of the fanfare and hear about the origins of the “XX” in the above video.
