Scion x Giant Robot x Shin Tanaka - Paper Toys

Japanese car maker, Scion, teams up with Giant Robot and artist, Shin Tanaka, to release special paper toy templates through select Giant Robot issues. Tanaka creates paper toys and sneakers with exact details. He has collaborated with giants such as Nike, Adidas and Reebok to create custom sneakers, and exhibited in Berline, Hawaii, and Portland. The first template was released in Giant Robot issue 56, the second in 57, and the third to come in issue 58 which will be released on February 9th, 2009. This project goes with Scion’s core values of free thinking and customization.
