出生於法國巴黎的 Hedi Slimane 是 Tunisian 與 Italian 混血，攝影師出生的他在朋友推薦下從事服裝行鞋，後加入 Saint Laurent 成為創意總監。在 2016 年初，Saint Laurent 宣布在 Hedi Slimane 的指導下，公司相比 3 年前他剛接手時增長了 1 倍收入。在今年，Hedi Slimane 把加州年輕的朋克、搖滾元素加入到時尚設計中，更親自為 Saint Laurent 2016 春夏 「Surf Sound」系列拍攝造型特輯。
