Silas, the English brand, has teamed up with Seiko’s WIRED h on a AGHH711 watch for Silas’ 10th anniversary celebration. We have previously seen another version of this watch and now here is the Zozotown (a huge Japanese online store) version of it. This version features a brown leather band instead of the black seen previously. Also on the corner of the watch face are 10 black rhinestones signifying the 10th anniversary. These watches are limited to only 100 pieces and will be released in April. Available soon at Fieil.
Ten years ago, Russell Waterman and Sofia Prantera founded Silas, and although the two have since parted ways they created a revolutionary brand. Incorporating various projects outside of clothing into their brand, they defined the notion of a true lifestyle label with art and toys among other things. Their 10th Anniversary in 2008 reveals an upcoming collaboration with Seiko sub-brand Wired H. Known for their radio frequency synchronization watches, this watch also features a croc leather band as well as bezel design and logos. Available in February through Wired H.
Japanese lifestyle magazine honeyee has recently extended their partnership with the WIRED H division of Japanese watchmakers Seiko to create another series of watches. This latest release comes on the heels of their September release of the AGHH004. This second series features a more angular set of watch faces. Aside from being solar powered, the watch also syncs via radio waves to insure accurate timing. Available soon via the hnyee.store.
