Raf Simons’s myriad achievements are, at this point, well stated. He’s been a constant influence on the world of fashion and, more recently, the world of streetwear. 2017 was a banner year for the designer whose work at Calvin Klein cemented a clear direction for the brand which in recent years been known for its mass-market basics, denim, and underwear rather than its ready-to-wear collections. Simons also moved his own brand to show during New York Fashion Week, which gave people a reason to attend what had been a flagging fashion week. He even managed to fit in a furniture collaboration with Kvadrat into his ever-busy schedule too.
