Initially starting his career off as a J-League football star, Atsuhiko Mori, along with then partner Keiji Ishizuka, founded WACKO MARIA. Since its inception, the brand has transformed from a cultural gem revered all throughout Tokyo into one of the most relevant streetwear names in the industry at large. Inspired from a wide range of artistic genres, WACKO MARIA has grown from a humble concept line into an imposing multidisciplinary imprint. Arguably making more noise in 2017 than any other year, Mori and his mainstay label have released a breadth of notable offerings, from seasonal collection drops and launching a jewelry line to themed merchandise releases and imaginative reworks on some quintessential classics. Amongst the many standouts include a graphic-rich lineup alongside artist Neckface and a leopard print-adorned Chuck Taylor All Star.
