In 2017, Italian designer Riccardo Tisci left his helm at Givenchy. The Central Saint Martins graduate was appointed as creative director of Givenchy Women's section in 2005, and additionally as that of the men's division in 2008 -- during his tenure, Tisci reinvigorated the French luxury fashion house with his ultra-modern style that fused minimalism, dark gothic elements and graphic-centric designs. As one of the designers that helped bridge high fashion and streetwear, Tisci garnered high acclaim from the likes of Kanye West and Travis Scott, and this year, he continues to focus his creative efforts on his ongoing partnership with NikeLab.
