John Elliott’s rise has been quick after building a brand off of sweats that drew fervent followers the designer launched his label John Elliott + Co., which looked to expand his offerings. In 2016 the designer took his label to new heights as he furthered his aesthetic with a constant stream of releases. Additionally, his label collaborated with big names including Japanese leather specialist Blackmeans and Nike on a highly anticipated LeBron collaboration. 2016 was definitely a big year for the designer as he continued to progress beyond the style that many forcefully placed upon him, showing growth and maturity in his creativity and designs. As his label continues to grow we can definitely expect more offerings that exhibit Elliott’s unrelenting growing style in the new year.
