Along with showcasing both his serious and funny sides, the lovable Pokémon can also be seen using his Quick Attack move as he bounces from giant parade balloon to giant parade balloon. Another notable scene sees Pikachu commenting on Tim’s (played by Justice Smith) headboard, which takes on the shape of Pikachu’s pointy ears. “I’ve never been so flattered and creeped out at the same time,” the Pokémon can be heard saying.
Reynolds voices the titular live action character which will be joined by over 60 more Pokémon in the film. Look for Detective Pikachu to land on the big screen come May 10.
