'SNL' Parodies 'Black Panther' With Deleted Scene Skit
Starring Sterling K. Brown of ‘Black Panther.’
Black Panther is the latest film to receive a parody courtesy of Saturday Night Live. Passing $1 billion USD in global box office sales, SNL adds a “deleted scene” to Marvel‘s breakout movie in the form of a casual barbecue.
Black Panther‘s own Sterling K. Brown (N’Jobu) guest stars in the comical skit which also features the likes of Leslie Jones and Kenan Thompson who play T’Challa’s great aunt and Uncle M’Butu, respectively. While on the grill, Thompson adds his own twist to the Lion King‘s popular “Circle of Life” theme as the cast try to contain their laughter following the exaggerated rendition.
