'The Simpsons' Take on 'South Park' in Couch Gag
Homer gets violent in the opening sequence.
In last week’s episode of The Simpsons, Homer finds himself in an alternate universe during the show’s introductory sequence. Created by Robot Chicken’s Seth Green, the segment starts off with the family pondering about their missing sailboat painting, which discernibly hangs in their living room throughout the series. When Bart suggests that another animated show may have stolen it, Homer goes off on a rampage in search of the artwork and battles against classic cartoon characters. He ends up biting into one of the The California Raisins and cuts through the South Park kids as he races back home with the painting. Watch the full Couch Gag from the “Fatzcarraldo” episode above.
