Some Are Calling Dave Chappelle's SNL Monologue One of the Greatest of All Time
Sobering, honest, and still funny.
It’s been an especially heavy week, as the U.S. Presidential elections came to a dramatic end. With this in mind, Dave Chappelle set the perfect tone for his audience as he opened tonight’s episode of Saturday Night Live with an unapologetically honest, yet funny monologue. He discusses not only the weight of this week’s political events but the year as a whole, covering such topics as mass shootings, racial violence, how Obama did as a president, and even the death of Harambe. Peppered with appropriate profanity (which will likely land NBC some heat), check out his monologue in full in the video above.
