Jumping slightly ahead of herself is 20-year-old Gigi Hadid’s debut acting performance, where she portrays herself at 24, the morning after winning the Best Actress award at the Oscars. Shot by fashion photographer and first-time filmmaker Sebastian Faena in collaboration with V magazine, the short film titled ”Those Wrecked by Success” shows Hadid waking up and lazing about her mansion, the mundanity of her morning juxtaposed with the importance of her previous night. Lacking any dialogue save for a voiceover of her acceptance speech, Hadid provides a sobering look at the unseen side of celebrity. Enjoy the short above.
