Apple iPhone 6 "Amazing Apps" Ad
Apple touts the 1.5 million apps in the App Store.
Apple is back with yet another ad, taking shots at the competition with the new “Amazing Apps” spot for the iPhone 6. The latest entry in the Cupertino-based tech giant’s “If it’s not an iPhone, it’s not an iPhone” campaign, “Amazing Apps” follows up the “Hardware & Software” ad that premiered earlier this month and sees Apple touting the 1.5 million apps in the App Store — especially those unavailable to Android users. The company also emphasizes the “hand-picked” nature of the apps (the submission process and validation required of all applications before going live) — something that is currently missing from Google’s process, but is slowly being implemented.
Apple seems keen, however, to ignore the fact that virtually any app of note is available on both iOS and Android.
