Kanye West Album is 80 Percent Done and He's Planning a Surprise Release

Early this morning, Kanye West paid visit to Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club for an in-depth interview. In addition to addressing the GRAMMYs and his new adidas shoe, he also unveiled a few details about his highly anticipated Yeezus followup. According to ‘Ye, the album is 80% finished, and will be a lot of “bars, songs, and cookout music that just feels good.”

“My last album was a protest to music, I was like ‘I’m gonna take my ball and go home’…This album is embracing the music, joy. Being of service to the people. I just hope people like it and enjoy it.”
