One Grand Gallery has played host to Parisian artist Yué Wu who, for the month of January, has been displaying his creative endeavors during an artist residency. Wu has gained notoriety in the art world in the fields of animation, creative direction among others and has been using the space to explore artistic experimentation and reflection. The gallery has been holding events where you can attend and draw with Wu himself in a series titled Sketch Saturdays which attempts to create new artistic cultures via audience participation. He has been experimenting with unconventional canvases and tools from hand drawn animations to wall sized installations with the closing reception set to take place on Friday, January 30.
