In honor of the third installment of our Drive Slow, Homie series with Ta-ku, we teamed up with POW WOW Hawaii to celebrate the upcoming mix in a real way. Honolulu’s latest hotspot Fresh Cafe Downtown has opened its doors to host a energetic and dynamic crowd that immersed in the vibrant sounds of Ta-ku’s vibrant DJ set. The high energy of the night resulted in a spontaneous jam session that included legendary Japanese emcee Shing02 on the mic while visual artist James Jean blessed the crowd with a rare trumpet set.
