Turning a simple concept that’s remained virtually untouched for centuries, Austrian design firm Klemens Torggler introduces the origami “Evolution” door. Although the above video has been circulating around the web for some time now, we couldn’t help but spotlight its modern innovation. Using two rotating squares, the unique construction makes it possible to move the door sideways with a gentle nudge, yet without any tracks.
