Paul Rodriguez Life: The Other Half – Ep. 5, Part 1 & 2

In episode 5 of Paul Rodriguez Life, the star skater’s web series drops a video about him discussing competition at the 2012 Dew Tour street skate event in San Francisco. Entitled “The Other Half,” this fifth installment of the documentary series finds Paul Rodriguez contemplating his celebrity status and growing fan base. The “other half” of a professional skateboarder’s life–apart from simply skating–is winning competitions because prize money now numbers in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and is directly linked to getting and keeping sponsorship deals. While all this can be extremely pressurizing, passion powers through, and at the end of the day Paul makes top three. Kudos and skate on, P-Rod.
