First Jack White Guinness World Records Attempt Declared "Uncountable"
Jack White’s going to have to wait for at least another night before he can have his name etched
Jack White’s going to have to wait for at least another night before he can have his name etched into the Guiness Book of World Records as his attempt to have the “most metaphors in a single concert” failed due to a “trivialized metaphor.” The effort conjured up no less than 1,203 metaphors in three minutes, but according to officials, White “trivialized a metaphor by saying it too quickly,” subsequently forfeiting the attempt. The spectacle took place during his show in Gulf Shores, Alabama, using lyrical and literal metaphors including references to light changes and weather patterns. White will make another go of it at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City tomorrow night.
