An art that has begun to see a strong resurgence within music videos as of late, The Shins debut the latest visuals to accompany their track, “The Rifle’s Spiral” through an impressive stop motion reel. The fantastical footage was directed under the vision of Emmy-winning director Jamie Caliri and has an assortment of self-confessed inspiration from the likes of Martin Scorcese and Edward Gorey. The video arrives on the heels of The Shins’ recent performance at the first weekend of the 2012 Coachella festival.
